Ingredients

hop onions, garlic, and bell peppers.
Rinse and drain the beans.

Measure out your spices so you don’t scramble last-minute.

Sauté the Aromatics

Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large pot.

Add chopped onions and garlic.

Cook for 3-4 minutes until fragrant.

 Brown the Meat

Add 1 lb of ground beef or turkey.

Cook until browned and crumbled (about 5-7 minutes).

Drain excess grease if needed.

 Add the Spices

Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and salt.
